“I’m tired of feeling misunderstood. I get irritated by people easily. When they don’t follow the rules, I get so angry and stressed. “
“I want to peel my face off if I have to make small talk. I’d be happier if they would listen to me talk non-stop about my plants and the fantasy novel I am writing.”
“ I like things to be the same. Please don’t change my weekly appointment time. I get overwhelmed by transitions.”
“I want friends but I exhaust myself trying to figure out how. Sometimes it is just easier to be by myself.”
“I calm myself by pacing or twirling my hair. Sometimes I flick my finger over and over again without even realizing I am doing it.”
“If I feel overwhelmed and triggered, I may melt down. It may look like an uncontrolled rage session.”

You Deserve Therapy That Actually Works
If you've ever left a therapist's office feeling misunderstood, exhausted from explaining yourself, or like you were being pushed to fit a mold that just doesn't work for you—I want you to know there's another way.
I specialize in working with neurodivergent adults who are tired of masking, overwhelmed by a world that wasn't built for them, or simply seeking support from someone who understands. My approach isn't about fixing you or teaching you to be "more normal." It's about helping you work with your brain, not against it.
My own life has been shaped by close relationships with neurodivergent people I love deeply. This personal experience, combined with specialized training, informs how I practice. I know that what looks like avoidance might be sensory overload, that "just do it" isn't helpful advice when executive function is the issue, and that your need for routine or direct communication isn't something to apologize for.
In our sessions, you'll find clear structure, honest communication, and a judgment-free space where stimming, asking for clarification, or needing to revisit topics is completely welcome. You don't need to perform neurotypicality here.
Let's work together to build a life that honors how your brain actually works.
NOT SURE IF YOU’RE NEURODIVERGENT?
Here are some common signs that might suggest neurodivergence (which includes conditions like ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and others):
- Sensory sensitivities - You're bothered by lights, sounds, textures, or smells that others seem fine with, or you don't notice things that bother everyone else.
- Different social communication - You find small talk exhausting, miss unspoken social cues, take things literally, or feel like you're "performing" in social situations.
- Intense interests - You dive deeply into specific topics and can talk about them for hours, sometimes losing track of time or other priorities.
- Executive function challenges - You struggle with starting tasks, remembering appointments, organizing your space, or managing time, even when you really care about these things.
- Routine importance - Changes to your routine feel genuinely distressing, or you rely heavily on specific routines to function well.
- Attention differences - You either hyperfocus intensely on things that interest you or struggle to concentrate on anything for long, with little middle ground.
- Emotional intensity - Your emotions feel bigger or more overwhelming than they seem to for others, or you have difficulty identifying what you're feeling.
- Masking exhaustion - You feel drained after social interactions because you're consciously managing how you act, speak, or present yourself.
- Different learning style - Standard teaching methods never quite worked for you, or you need information presented in specific ways to really understand it.
- Feeling "different" - You've always felt like you're on the outside looking in, like everyone else got a manual for life that you missed.
If you like direct communication, can handle a tell-it-like it-is attitude, and have a sense of humor, we might be a good fit in therapy.
I have no hidden agendas. I don’t analyze you. But if I see something I think you’re not aware of, I’m going to share it with you.
