  • This book is a good resource for couples that want to understand why we choose the mate we do and how that relationship can help heal our deepest wounds.

Will I ever Be Good Enough, Healing Daughters of Narcississtic Mothers, Karl McBride, Ph.D.

  • This book is great for women and men who have struggled to get attention from a parent.  If you have felt the frustration of trying to prove yourself to your mom or dad then this book will help understand the madness.

The Four Agreements, Don Miguel Ruiz

  • Do you take things personally?  Is it bringing you down?  This book offers a great philosophy on how we should be in the world.

Feeling Good, David D. Burns, M.D.

  • Do you suffer from depression?  Are you tired of feeling stuck and unmotivated?  This book is a tool for breaking through negative though patterns and breaking through stubborn depression.  Caution:  I recommend you take this book slowly.  There is a lot of material here and if you try to digest it all at once – you may get frustrated.  Great book for independent thinkers.

Driven to Distraction, Edward M. Hallowell, M.D. and John J. Ratley, M.D.

  • This is my favorite book for understand adult A.D.D.  If you think you have A.D.D. there is a questionnaire to see how likely you are to have it.  Tell your doctor or psychotherapist if you think you do.  This book is also a great resource for spouses of A.D.D. sufferers.
